Taikoo Engine Services (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. as a specialist in full overhaul, testing and component repair services for GE90 series engines, our key capabilities including performance restoration, quick-turn shop visits as well as module and component repair services. 

 

Position Description

Manage the training team to develop, implement, optimize and oversee all technical training programs for engine maintenance and related technical staff, ensuring compliance with CAAC/FAA/EASA and other regulations and company standards while enhancing workforce’s technical competency.

Manage training team to develop foundational technical training courses, and to assist building engine-related training center and develop specialized technical courses according to the company's business needs to meet market training demands.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for maintaining current technical training program for comply with each authority’s requirement.
  • Responsible for development with new employee competency building including theoretical and hand practical.
  • Responsible for setting up new training center program and building up related theoretical classroom and hand practical base area.
  • Establish a mature competency-based technical training and authorization system for engine component maintenance personnel.
  • Responsible for the development of training centers for external clients, including authorities, group entities, and airlines, covering from requirement identification to technical course development and the final course implementation.
  • Develop and revise technical training course related to safety procedures to meet regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Promote the company's safety awareness through various safety culture training programs

What You'll Need

  • University graduate or higher, bachelor’s degree of science or engineering.
  • 10+ years in aviation maintenance with training/instruction management
  • Proven experience developing technical training materials
  • Experience and knowledge of training in instructional design models (e.g. ISD/ADDIE)
  • Expertise in SMS field with rich SMS management and teaching experience
  • Strong cross-departmental collaboration skills to enforce safety culture across entire company.
  • Experience in dual-prevention mechanism for safety management.
  • Proficiency in safety management software (e.g., database/reporting systems) and data analytics
  • Excellent self-driven ability and execution capability.
  • CAAC Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License
  • Fluent English reading and writing skills – B2 level or above, equivalent to CET Band 4 or higher.
  • CAAC Certified training instructor or related trainer license/certificate (preference)
  • CAAC, ICAO recognized SMS instructor with certification (preference)
