Position Description
The role of the Technical Services Senior Specialist encompasses all aspects of technical support related to the Engine Overhaul and Component Repair activity.
What You'll Do
Review and process Defect Notifications (DNs) in both EOH and CR until resoultion.
Advise and provide instructions in response to technical assistance requests raised by production departments, including but not limit to raising service requests (SRs) and departure records ( DRs).
Develop GE90-100 engine overhaul work process, define engine repaire work scope with customers and OEM, and review the OEM technical documents, ensure the correct compliance of customized requirements and specifications.
Prepare and issue Technical Service Instruction (TSI) & Local Manual Revision (LMR) to support maintenance activities.
Investing and assessing component or process failures, provide support for trouble shooting during or after engine test.
Coordinate with GE to make manual change for those repeating DR/SR data.
Create and develop work scopes for new engine types & Time and Material (T&M) engines.
Lead and promote BI projects from identifying core concept to project implementation, liaise with different departments seeking for business improvement opportuniteis across the company.
Provides proficient knowledge in his/her area of interest, specialize in Engine technical & system knowledges.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree, background in Mechanical Engineering.
CAAC Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License with Aviation Technical English Level 4 is essentials.
Well knowledge of Aero Engine structure and systems.
A minimum of five years working experiences in the civil aviation or powerplant industry, that inculding at least two years working experience in Technical/Engineering Services department.
Good knowledge of airworthiness regulations, especially CCAR 145.
Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
