HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HAECO. At present, HAECO has established three aircraft component maintenance centers, located in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong (headquarters), Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong and Xiamen respectively, providing aircraft component maintenance services to aircraft operators or owners around the world.
The company obtained the CAAC maintenance license in December 2015. In February 2016, it obtained the FAA maintenance license. In March 2017, it obtained the EASA maintenance license. In June 2022, it obtained the JCAB maintenance license.

 

Position Description

Staff is of this grade are responsible to carry out or supervise workshop component maintenance tasks independently or supervise others doing maintenance tasks in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions and to notify Assistant Engineer/Senior Qualified Technician of mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required workshop maintenance standards.

(For Senior Qualified Technician only) Perform receiving & final inspections and release component to service.

What You'll Do

  • Perform, inspect and certify aircraft or component maintenance work per duly documents with acceptable standard of workmanship and safety. Proper recording and documentation.
  • Safety related requirement/focus: No personal injury, no equipment & component damage, no ex-store/warranty claim/MOR or IOR/Rogue unit record.
  • Completed work/assignment with satisfied schedule/ turnaround time target.
  • Manhour booking or booking customer job with required target/level.
  • Housekeeping, equipment and consumable caring meeting shop requirement.
  • Cooperative with others and be in line with company policies.
  • Involve in product line/project/workshop daily task assignment, project control, new capability applications.
  • Take part in cost, efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Properly supervise the non-authorized staff, to ensure component or aircraft maintenance task being accomplished by them with pertinent document and standards.
  • For senior qualified technician only, certify and return the component to service with airworthiness tags per approved data.
  • For SQT only, be able to act as deputy role on whole or partial product line/project/workshop daily operation when the in-charge Engineer or Assistant Engineer is absent or on leave.

What You'll Need

  • Qualified Technician: More than 1 year as Tradesman 2, holding Qualified technician or NDT level 2 or higher authorization granted by QA.
  • Senior Qualified Technician: More than 1 year as Qualified Technician, holding Component Certifying staff or NDT level 3 staff authorization granted by QA.
  • For SQT only, basic project management/control, manpower allocation knowledge.
  • Sound aircraft or component system knowledges
  • Sound airworthiness or regulation knowledges
  • Technical school, colleague, university or above in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • CAAC Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License (For SQT, English Level 3 is required; For QT English Level 3 is preferred)
  • Sound English skill supporting maintenance record, manual etc reading and writing.
  • Sound computer operation, Office skills.
