Located at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, HAECO Landing Gear Services offers a full range of inspection, repair, modification, overhaul, exchange and leasing services. Our authorized capabilities include the repair and overhaul of landing gear for the Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787, the Airbus A320, the Embraer E190/E195 and the Comac C909.

Position Description

Responsible for compliance checks of landing gear maintenance work cards, inspection records, and release documentation, document scanning, proofreading, data entry, archiving, storage, ledger management, and traceability. Ensures all maintenance records comply with CAAC-145, EASA-145, FAA-145, and other relevant regulatory requirements, meeting audit standards from authorities, customers, and internal quality inspections.

What You'll Do

  1. Verify the completeness, standardization, validity, and compliance of signatures in maintenance records.
  2. Responsible for digital processing of completed-maintenance documentation, including scanning, page segmentation, content classification, as well as logical splitting and merging of documents.
  3. Standardize the handling of issues such as skewed, blurry, missed or repeated scanning, and stains in the scanned documents, ensuring that the electronic archives are clear, readable, and capable of being retained for a long time.
  4. Conduct a double-check of the consistency between the electronic files and the paper originals, ensuring that the page numbers are complete, the contents are consistent, and there are no missing or incorrect pages.
  5. Strictly categorize and name according to the landing gear type, project ID, customer, etc., and follow the company's standardized naming rules and folder management.
  6. Sort, arrange, bind, assemble, label and register the paper-based maintenance documents that have been verified without errors and completed the scanning process.
  7. Store in the archives in accordance with the management standards, divide into different areas, layers and categories for storage, and implement measures for moisture prevention, damage prevention and loss prevention.
  8. Establish a registration system for the borrowing, retrieval and return of paper archives, ensuring complete traceability throughout the process, and preventing the leakage, loss or unauthorized alteration of the materials.
  9. Responsible for the maintenance of relevant documents for authority inspections, customer audits, and internal audits, as well as the retrieval, organization, and archiving of these documents for future reference.
  10. Cooperate with the department to complete the standardization of materials, process optimization, system updates, and the implementation of job-specific standard operating procedures.

What You'll Need

  1. College diploma or above, majoring in Aeronautics and Astronautics, Mechanical Engineering or related fields is preferred.
  2. 3+years of working experience in civil aviation maintenance, familiar with the 145-maintenance system is preferred.
  3. Be familiar with the CCAR-145 maintenance record management regulations, as well as retention and archiving requirements for maintenance documents.
  4. Proficient in operating scanners, digitalization software for archives, office software, and maintaining ERP/archival systems.
  5. Meticulous, patient, with good stress resilience, and a strong sense of zero errors.
  6. Have a basic understanding of aviation maintenance terms and be able to identify documents such as task cards, test reports, etc.
  7. CET4 is preferred.
