Taikoo Engine Services (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. as a specialist in full overhaul, testing and component repair services for GE90 series engines, our key capabilities including performance restoration, quick-turn shop visits as well as module and component repair services.
Position Description
Undertake and initiate the incoming visual check and inspection for all incoming material, engine/module, new spare part, subcon repair part, and 3rd CR component.
What You'll Do
- Achieve and meet the requirement and objective at Goods Receipt for new spare, Sub-con, commercial material, engine/Module/3rd-CR.
- Receiving inspection and acceptance of commercial items, engine hardware, sub-contracted items for compliance to the requirement of HES purchase orders i.a.w SLM-001.
- Able to prepare and provide commentary for monthly KPI/metrics on Goods Receiving.
- Support internal and external audit (Assessment from QA engineer).
- Prioritize the goods receiving to accommodate engine/module build schedule provided by Planning department (assess through trial period achievement of Gate 3 target).
- Compile, review for correctness and submit monthly status report of goods receiving and monthly NCR report (Practical demonstration).
- Prepare and archive received documentation i.a.w SLM-001.
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns that may have a negative effect on product quality and/or airworthiness, or may be non-compliance to the HES Quality System and/or Airworthiness regulations.
- Daily cleaning, housekeeping and waste removal of receipt, dispatch and discarded material containment areas as per 5S requirement.
- Other tasks as directed by Store Officer/Supervisor.
What You'll Need
- College or above degree, science & technology background.
- Sound knowledge of CAAC, FAA, EASA and UK CAA regulatory requirements and standards applicable to the Store functions preferred.
- 1 year experience as a piece part inspector of aviation materials is preferrable.
- Previous experience in SAP using preferred.
- Intermediate or higher level of computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Holder of a valid Forklift License and the operation of forklift is preferrable.
- Good English language skills: CET4 and above, BULATS English Level A2, Technical English AE level.
