Material Planner (Replenishment)

Position Description
Plan the spares to fulfil the upcoming requirements, thus, to deliver the final product with safety and quality, with optimizing the inventory level under minimum supervision
What You'll Do
- Manage and control inventory of the company
- Conduct material replenishment to ensure timely availability of parts to support maintenance operations under minimum supervision
- Analyze and improve integrity of aircraft pre-draw material list (BOM) under minimum supervision
- Conduct material profit and loss analysis and make recommendations to management for improving profitability
- Similar to those of Material Planner Grade 2 except that the job holder will be engaged in a greater variety of tasks which are more complex in nature. Besides, the job holder will be responsible for the following duties:
- Review and recommend improvements to replenishment model
- Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of HAECO Material Planning System
- Closely liaise with Commercial and Production departments for RFP
- Generate and review reports from company IT System and database as required for material analysis and provide recommendations
- Review processes and make recommendations as to where savings in cost or better delivery can be realized
- Perform supervisory duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
1. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- Degree holder in relevant discipline (English – Leve 4)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive and able to work under pressure with multi-tasking ability
- Good command of conversational English and Chinese
- Good command of written English
- Strong PC skills especially Microsoft Office and database applications
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of statistical applications
- Strong material planning skills
- Good supervisory skills
- Passed training in Staff Competence Program for Material Planning staff
2. Functional and other Relevant Experience
- 2 years relevant experience for Degree holder in relevant disciplines
