HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HAECO. At present, HAECO has established three aircraft component maintenance centers, located in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong (headquarters), Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong and Xiamen respectively, providing aircraft component maintenance services to aircraft operators or owners around the world.
The company obtained the CAAC maintenance license in December 2015. In February 2016, it obtained the FAA maintenance license. In March 2017, it obtained the EASA maintenance license. In June 2022, it obtained the JCAB maintenance license.
Position Description
Lead Officer (Procurement) shall be responsible for leading and administrating the teams for Non-Aviation Procurement, Calibration and OEM/supplier relationships, to meet the operation requirements, in a cost-effective manner, and strictly complying with airworthiness requirements and the Company/Group policies. Lead Officer (Procurement) should assist the Manager to build up and maintain the Strategic Procurement function.
What You'll Do
1.Compliance to policies/procedures: Comply to the Company/Group policies, manuals, procedures, and governmental regulations/laws.
2. Administration: Administrating the related team(s) to ensure good performance.
3.Team building: Assist to develop/build the team(s).
4.Responsible for planning/supervising/monitoring of all activities of related team(s).
5.Responsible to help the team(s) to resolve problems.
6.Responsible to ensure that all activities of the team(s) are meeting the production/project requirements.
7.Responsible to ensure that all activities of the team(s) are meeting the authority/regulation requirements.
8.Responsible to ensure that all activities of the team(s) are meeting the Company and Group policies.
9.Assist the Manager in developing/improving supply chain channels and/or the procedures/operations of the respective area(s).
10.Assist the Manager in establishing the Strategic Procurement function, e.g., build up strategies based on data driven analysis, partnership with OEMs & key suppliers, collaboration with GPD on One HAECO Procurement program, etc.
What You'll Need
1.Bachelor’s degree.
2.Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing, CET-4 or above.
3.Minimum 10 years of non-aviation procurement related experiences.
4.Rich experiences on supplier negotiation, tendering, contract management and supplier management.
5.Cutting edge data analysis abilities (e.g., PBI, Python, etc.) is preferred.
6.Aviation related experience is preferred.
