Located at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, HAECO Landing Gear Services offers a full range of inspection, repair, modification, overhaul, exchange and leasing services. Our authorized capabilities include the repair and overhaul of landing gear for the Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787, the Airbus A320, the Embraer E190/E195 and the Comac C909.

Position Description

Responsible for maintenance system compliance control, in-depth review of quality issues, continuous improvement of the quality management system, coordination of internal and external audits, quality risk control, etc. Support the organization to comply with CAAC/FAA/EASA airworthiness regulations,    and achieve HAECO group's quality zero-accident and zero-violation targets, and deliver technical and system-level support for end-to-end quality compliance and safety control of landing gear maintenance.

What You'll Do

  1. Responsible for the compilation, revision, replacement, dissemination and control management of the quality system manuals, ensuring that all documents comply with the requirements of airworthiness regulations such as CCAR-145, FAA Part 145, and EASA Part 145 etc.
  2. Track the latest regulations and compliance requirements of the aviation authority, promptly update internal systems for alignment, maintain continuous validity of company qualifications, and mitigate compliance risks.
  3. Handle the maintenance process, customer feedback, regulatory inspections, quality deviations identified during internal and external audits, recurring quality issues, unsafe incidents; lead the root cause analysis, and proficiently apply quality tools including 5WHY and fishbone diagrams to conduct in-depth reviews.
  4. Independently prepare audit reports, quality investigation reports, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) plans. Track the implementation of rectification, verify the effectiveness of rectification, prevent the recurrence of problems, and realize closed-loop management of quality issues.
  5. Conduct statistical analysis of monthly/ annual quality data, including customer complaints, non-conformities identified during audits, internal occurrence reports, etc. Compile quality analysis report, identify appropriate trends and core risks, and propose optimization and improvement plans.
  6. Formulate the annual internal audit plan and audit checklist, organize and execute system audits, process audits and type audits. Identify quality risks and produce audit reports and rectification lists.
  7. Lead the coordination of routine inspections by the regulatory authority, special reviews, customer audits, group or third-party audits. Fully cooperate with the review process, answer compliance questions, organize supporting documents, implement rectification and close-loop management, ensuring that all types of audits have zero major non-conformities.
  8. Responsible for the qualification review, capability assessment, authorization control of maintenance related personnel, establish personnel quality files, supervising the retraining, assessment and authorization renewal, ensuring that all positions have personnel holding valid certificates and their capabilities match the requirements of the positions.
  9. Supervise the compliance of on-site maintenance operations, conduct random checks on maintenance records, release documents, and process execution, and prevent quality issues such as illegal operation, record falsification, and unauthorized releases.
  10. Organize quality-specific training, case study and compliance publicity activities, produce standardized training materials, and enhance the quality compliance awareness and problem-solving capabilities of all employees.
  11. Assist the department in planning and implementing special activities such as safety and quality milestones, quality competitions, and safety months, and promote the normalization of quality culture.
  12. Lead the implementation of specific quality goals such as zero accidents and zero maintenance errors, formulate special control plans, supervise the execution process, and conduct the acceptance of work results.
  13. Participate in the quality reviews of new processes, new procedures, new equipment and new projects, identify process risks in advance, formulate quality control standards, and ensure that the quality of new projects is controllable.
  14. Complete the quality-focused special efforts, compliance rectification, and report summarization tasks assigned by superiors.

What You'll Need

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Aeronautics and Astronautics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  2. 8+ years’working experience in civil aviation maintenance, with 3+ years of management experience in quality system, internal audit rectification, and airworthiness interface. 
  3. Familiar with the maintenance procedures of the aircraft, landing gear, engines or onboard components. With experience in large-scale civil aviation enterprises will be given priority.
  4. Proficient in the regulatory requirements of CCAR-145 or FAA Part 145 or EASA Part 145, and capable of comprehending the overall quality control logic of civil aviation maintenance processes.
  5. Proficient in using quality analysis tools such as 5WHY, CAPA, and fishbone diagrams, and capable of independently handling major quality issues and writing special reports.
  6. Possess the professional capabilities of independently coordinating internal audits, responding to external audits from the authorities or customers, revising system documents, and conducting quality risk assessments.
  7. Familiar with the qualification management of civil aviation maintenance personnel, record control, non-conforming product control, and airworthiness compliance verification procedures.
  8. Possessing a strong sense of compliance, risk awareness, and responsibility, adhering to the red line of quality and safety, being meticulous and logical.
  9. Possess excellent skills in document writing, data analysis, problem review, and overall coordination. Capable of independently producing various quality reports and solutions.
  10. Possess the ability to empower the team and conduct training and dissemination, and can guide subordinate employees in their daily work.
  11. No record of violations or accidents related to civil aviation maintenance, quality, honesty and compliant.
  12. CET4 or above.
  13. CAAC license holder.
  14. With ISO 9001 Internal auditor certification preferred.
