Based at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), HAECO Hong Kong offer a full range of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, inventory technical management, cabin solutions, freighter conversions, technical training and AOG support.
Position Description
1.Assist in identifying, preventing and controlling legal risks in daily operations of the company and HAECO Group.
2.Assist in ensuring that all operation of the company and HAECO Group are legitimate and compliant and to protect the rights and interests of the company, HAECO Group and Swire Group.
3.To provide legal support and assistance to the management and entities/departments in their decision-making with supervisors.
4.Assist in legal disputes and litigation.
5.Support in dealing with external legal counsel and other legal service providers.
6.Assist in building a culture of the rule of law and enhance awareness of legal risk prevention to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of the company and HAECO Group.
What You'll Do
1. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate Chinese and English sales, procurement, and other commercially-related contracts.
2. Legal Support: Participate in the company's major projects and bidding initiatives, providing legal analysis and opinions as needed.
3. Compliance and Risk Management: Contribute to building, maintaining, and overseeing the company's compliance system (covering areas such as anti-monopoly, anti-commercial bribery, intellectual property, export control, trade secret protection, data privacy, and information security).
4. Dispute Resolution: Engage in resolving legal disputes and handling insurance cases or similar matters.
5. Legal Counseling: Offer legal advice, opinions, and training to business units across the organization.
6. External Lawyer Management: Coordinate with external counsel to secure legal support and assist in managing their involvement effectively.
7. Group Synergy: Our department serves as a one-stop legal service center for Group entities in Chinese Mainland, collaborating closely with the Group Legal team to jointly mitigate legal risks.
8. Group Entity Support: As the Group Legal Chinese Mainland Team, we support the oversight and management of legal matters for all Group entities.
What You'll Need
1. Full-time undergraduate degree or above in law or legal major.
2.1-3 years of legal-related work experience in corporate legal affairs or law firms, etc. Excellent recent graduates will be considered as appropriate.
3.Strong English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, with the ability to work in English.
4. Passing the national judicial examination or legal professional qualification examination is preferred.
5. Excellent logical thinking, learning and analytical skills, able to solve problems independently.
6. Effective communication and expression skills, along with a strong teamwork orientation.
