Based at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), HAECO Hong Kong offer a full range of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, inventory technical management, cabin solutions, freighter conversions, technical training and AOG support.
Position Description
1. Maintenance work: Responsible to lead the engineer trainees, including Vietnam engineer trainee, to perform front-line aircraft maintenance work such as parts disassembly and assembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, replacement, maintenance, testing and adjustment etc, make sure to comply with quality standards and sign the completed work in a timely manner.
2. Quality inspection and acceptance: Within the scope authorized by the Quality Assurance Department, carry out quality inspection and acceptance of aircraft/components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
3. Post skills training: Compile training materials, setup practical training tasks, provide one-to-one or group guidance to new employees, and coach manual usage, practical skills, maintenance standards, safety awareness and professional quality, etc.
4. Supervision and problem solving: lead new employees to participate in front-line maintenance work, supervise and correct errors or irregularities in time, quickly answer the problems encountered by new employees in work, provide detailed solutions, and promote the rapid growth of new employees.
5. Performance tracking and feedback improvement: monitor new employees' skills and performance, and record their strengths and weaknesses. Clearly inform new employees of their progress and areas to be improved through communication, formulate targeted improvement measures, and regularly carry out enhance training on skill improvement and safety improvement.
6. Psychological guidance and support: pay attention to the possible unfamiliarity and mistakes of new employees; provide patient guidance, positive encouragement, and inquire actively difficulties encountered and offer helps accordingly; instill a strong sense of job ownership, safety awareness, and quality mindset, cultivating a professional and proactive work attitude.
7. Daily management: Responsible for supervising and correcting the labor discipline, job status, production order, safety measures of subordinate employees such as team leaders, technician, etc. during the production process.

What You'll Need
1. Major in electronics or mechanical engineering or related fields;
2. At least fifteen years of working experience in the aircraft maintenance industry or relevant qualifications recognized by the department manager is required;
3. At least two years of working experience as an aircraft maintenance engineer;
4. Pass the S3 test of Engineer English Proficiency;
5. Before being promoted to engineer G2, one must pass the engineer G2 position qualification assessment, which includes professional knowledge, regulations and norms, English, management skills and knowledge, etc;
6. Must hold an aircraft maintenance license issued by the authority;
7. Obtain authorization for two or more models issued by the Quality Assurance Department
