Position Description
Business Development plays a strategic role in the long-term development and growth of the company in close collaboration with Group functions and internal departments. As such, the Business Development Officer will contribute to at least one of the following functions: Product Sales, Product Management and Corporate Functions.
What You'll Do
- Follow procedures for responding to RFP’s and comply with policies and guidelines (Product Sales)
- Extract & analyze data to support FDS calculation and seek for alignment with Manager (Product Sales)
- Develop commercial proposals in close alignment with Manager and GC (Product Sales)
- Support contract negotiation with GC on Entity specific Terms and Conditions (Product Sales)
- Participate in regular meetings with GC and internal stakeholders (Product Sales)
- Collaborate with GC in updating CRM system (Product Sales)
- Collaborate with internal departments on development of new capabilities (Product Management)
- Develop profitable pricing for all new capabilities in compliance with obligations if any (Product Management)
- Update and publish pricing directories on periodic basis (Product Management)
- Generate license reports in line with contractual obligations and review with Manager (Product Management)
- Analyze profitability and provide report to Manager on regular basis (Product Management)
- Perform market research /data analysis as required by Manager from time to time (Product Management)
- Assist Manager with branding, marketing and corporate communication activities (Corporate Function)
- Manage corporate gifts in line with budget (Corporate Function)
- Coordinate and support customer visits (Corporate Function)
What You'll Need
- Bachelor degree or above, engineering or business related major preferred
- Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in commercial and/or finance disciplines within the aviation MRO industry
- Good business acumen, understanding of P&L and value contribution
- Good Command of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP is an advantage
- Experience with CRM and market analysis tools (e.g. CAPA or Cirium Fleet Analyzer) is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are a must and the right candidate must be able to work under pressure and perform as a team player
- Native or high professional proficiency of English, including written, spoken and comprehension
- Alternatively, English Language assessed at BULATS / BELT Grade B2 or acceptable equivalent
