HAECO Component Overhaul is an independent MRO offering offering a wide range of repair and overhaul solutions for aircraft components from purpose-built facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, our workshops also facilitate the closed-loop repair of components.


 

Position Description


Reporting to Head of Business Development and Commercial, the incumbent will lead and manage CRO’s Business Development team, to develop long-term relationships with OEMs and customers for sustainable current and future component repair business, in order to meet targeted revenue growth.

What You'll Do


Partnership Development

  • Explore and advocate cooperation opportunities and establish relationships with key component OEMs
  • Support the formulation and execution of strategies that broaden and deepen relationships with partners balancing our value creation, profitability, risk, and long-term development
  • Leverage existing supplier relationships to maximize value for HAECO Group’s component business
  • Manage commercial proposal, quotation and negotiation process for all opportunities
  • Safeguard OEM contracts to ensure risk protection and value creation


Business and Market Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends
  • Analyze competitors and industry developments to inform strategic decisions
  • Explore investment opportunities and perform profitability analysis against pipeline targets and key performance indicators
  • Prepare budget, and perform business and financial forecasts


Strategic Initiatives and Projects

  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives that drive business growth and enhance competitive advantage
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness to cope with business requirements in the competitive market
  • Continuously monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring they stay on track and deliver the desired outcomes
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and partners, to ensure their support and buy-in for strategic projects
     

What You'll Need


1.    Functional and other Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aviation industry, preferably related to component repair business, with at least 5 years in project management role
  • Experience in contract negotiations, proposal management, budgeting, and business and financial analysis
  • Good project management, problem solving, and statistical or financial model building skills


2.    Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • Recognized degree in any disciplines, and relevant aviation / MRO / OEM work experience
  • Knowledge on aviation OEMs, airline operators and aircraft components
  • Good understanding of commercial process, policies, practices, landscape and strategies in the industry
  • Proficiency in preparing project papers and presentations with MS Office applications
  • Fluence in English and Chinese, both spoken and written, would be an advantage
