HAECO Component Overhaul is an independent MRO offering offering a wide range of repair and overhaul solutions for aircraft components from purpose-built facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, our workshops also facilitate the closed-loop repair of components.
Position Description
Responsible for the management of the sub-business units to achieve divisional objectives in quality control, environment health and safety in accordance with the work schedule and requirements as provided.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate the team in risk assessment and provide mitigation plans
- Lead the team for pre-audit preparation, investigation, perform root-cause analysis, and provide corrective and preventive actions
- Act as the department representative, related to quality and health & safety
- Manage staff competence program, including both technical and non-technical aspects, to fulfill regulations
- Be the departmental coordinator for Safety Management System (SMS) related issues
- Communicate with HAECO Group functions and to ensure CRO is align with Group direction
- Work with HAECO Safety and Environment department to ensure safety standard is met and fulfilled
What You'll Need
1. Technical and other Relevant Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aircraft, component engineering or quality management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and project management skills
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- A recognized degree in Aeronautical, Engineering, or related disciplines
- Completed Hong Kong Airworthiness courses is advantage
- Completed Quality Management System course (e.g. AS/EN 9100)
- Familiar with the Part-145 regulation issued by European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Civil Aviation Department Hong Kong (HKCAD)
- Knowledge of EASA Production Organisation Approvals (POA) and Design Organisations Approvals (DOA) is advantage
- Good knowledge and competency in aircraft component engineering
- Good knowledge in audit skills, SMS and investigation techniques
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
