Position Description

To ensure the operational readiness and safety of aircraft working stands and mobile platforms at the apron. This position involves inspecting, servicing, and conducting minor repair on working stands to support aircraft maintenance activities. The mechanic will work closely with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations and compliance with safety standards.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure LM aircraft maintenance working stands complies with HAECO’s safety and operational standards.
  • Assist LM team positioning and securing working stands as requested.
  • Conduct periodic inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft maintenance working stands and mobile platforms.
  • Identify and report defects or irregularities in equipment to supervisors for corrective actions.
  • Use approved tools and follow documented procedures for all maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

What You'll Need

  • Completion of HKCEE / DSE or formal craft apprenticeship training in mechanical or aircraft maintenance.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or ground support equipment servicing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of equipment and tool involving Line Maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance environments and safety protocols.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate GSE vehicles.
  • Delivering services to the operational requirements.
