Position Description

Reporting to Head of Quality, the incumbent acts on his behalf in all day-to-day responsibilities with respect to safety and quality management of HAECO Line Maintenance operations.

What You'll Do

  • Developing company quality standards and methods in order to satisfy regulatory and customer requirements
  • Administration, supervision, general direction and discipline of staff directly responsible to the position
  • Review of aviation safety trends and recommendations for company system development
  • Promptly notify the Head of Quality of significant deficiencies
  • Mentoring the newer members of the Line Maintenance Quality Team

What You'll Need

  • A recognized degree in engineering or related discipline an advantage
  • Holder of an aircraft maintenance license, and aircraft/engine/component maintenance authorisation, or a design authorisation is preferred
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and standards
  • Strong knowledge and ability to apply safety management system and its elements
  • Strong in liaison with aviation authorities in audits and approval issues
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe maintenance practices, and 8 years relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
