Project Officer, BM Cabin

Position Description

Project Officer, BM Cabin is the BM Cabin Team project lead, working closely across Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, Certification and Customer Support to understand information needs and ensure strategies and developed solutions fit evolving cabin engineering and maintenance requirements.

What You'll Do

• Deliver reporting and analytics for project monitoring and to provide actionable insights on cost, schedule, reliability and performance.
• Ensure data quality at the sources and maintain traceability across engineering records and project systems.
• Utilize best practices in engineering toolchains and reporting communities to develop dashboards, automated reports and tools (e.g., Power Platform where applicable).
• Act as project leader for cross-sectional cabin improvement projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet objectives.
• Drive business implementation of approved solutions and manage stakeholder engagement during rollout.
• Prepare business and technical requirement documentation.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and verification activities including test planning, test case preparation and execution for systems and on-aircraft validations.
• Lead and perform ad-hoc assignments such as root-cause analyses, corrective action tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of project management experience in aviation.
• Degree or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Working experience with a track record on data modernization, cross-team initiatives or Power Platform development.
• Experience working on solutions that span multiple Office365 services, or technical exposure to data models, database design, data mining or machine learning would be an advantage.
• A recognized qualification in process or project management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMO, PMP), training / certification on PowerApps Professional / Developer or Microsoft Flow, or recognized qualification in data analytics would be advantageous.
• Good command of querying databases, basic scripting or Agile / Scrum techniques to support project delivery and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Practical experience in cabin engineering, aircraft modifications, or related aerospace maintenance projects is highly desirable.
• Less qualification / experience would be considered a junior position.
