Position Description
Reporting to Procurement Officer/Manager, the incumbent will handle daily procurement requests of the assigned categories. He/she will lead sourcing processes, including supplier prequalification, evaluation and risk assessment to ensure procurement activities are carried out in fair, reasonable, transparent, cost effective and sustainable manner.
What You'll Do
- Handling daily procurement duties, executing projects and leading tender exercises and contract development
- Provision/Input and execution of mid to long-term strategy
- Understanding supply base and market trend
- Providing constructive feedback to supplier for future development
- Conducting product development and analysis
- Collaborating with teams and Influence relevant stakeholders effectively
- Provide procurement support to internal customers;
- Ensure proper execution of contractual commitment by suppliers;
- Conduct market research, periodic price reasonableness assessment and cost review;
- Make recommendation on vendor selection and contractual protection for procurement related agreements;
- Assist/lead studies on cost saving & process improvement initiatives

- To resolve problems properly and effectively for customer support and professional procurement practices;
- To exercise effective problem solving skills;
- To support KPI target setting and result achievement;
- To support/lead continuous improvement projects;
2. Qualification & Experience
- A recognized bachelor degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management or other related discipline.
- Minimum relevant working experience:
- <1 year for Procurement Assistant
- 1-2 years for Asst. Procurement Executive
- 3-4 years for Procurement Executive;
- Previous experience in aviation industry would be an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving technique
- Professional qualification with membership in purchasing and supply related institute is preferred.
- Self-motivated, well organized, analytical and result-oriented
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written. Putonghua would be an added advantage
