Position Description

Responsible for planning activities in Line Maintenance Planning (LMP) department. Act as key customer interface for work package review and acceptance for Line Maintenance Overseas Customer Group (OCG) customers. Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the work package is well-prepared to be handed over to production team for execution.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Line Maintenance Planning department.
  • Act as key customer interface for work package review and acceptance for Line Maintenance Overseas Customer Group (OCG) customers.
  • Responsible for work package review and preparation, including the arrangement of spare & tooling, reservation of manpower, workshop support, maintenance bay and sufficient aircraft ground time etc.
  • Support various departmental or cross-departmental initiatives to achieve business improvement outcomes.
  • Develop staff to meet the competence requirement of aircraft maintenance planning supervisors or planners and fulfill their roles effectively.
  • Encourage safety culture and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform work package evaluation, taking into account the workload and capacity forecast, availability of spare and tooling, certifying staff, workshop support, duration of aircraft ground time and maintenance bay arrangement.
  • Liaise with various Line Maintenance OCG customers on the arrangement of different types of maintenance checks and major maintenance tasks.
  • Act as project lead of LMP and participate in improvement projects to achieve departmental or company business improvement objectives.
  • Ensure completeness of maintenance data of finished work packages for technical records archiving, invoicing and technical analysis
  • Establish and maintain good business relationship with customers and handle their inquiries.

What You'll Need

1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or production planning.
  • A HKAR-66 B1 / B2 aircraft maintenance licence or equivalent will be an advantage.

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • A recognized degree in Engineering related discipline.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer centric, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to work effectively as a team and lead a group of staff.
  • Strong safety and compliance mindset.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with maintenance and engineering systems such AMOS and Ultramain will be an advantage
