Ltd.) and Cathay Pacific Airways based in Hong Kong, providing aircraft component services ranging from flexible inventory pooling solutions, Power-By-The-Hour component support services and component repair management to ad-hoc loans, exchanges and world-wide AOG support. HAECO ITM consists of different functions such as Asset Management & Trading, Inventory Management, Repair Management and Value Engineering.

 

Position Description

Operationally reporting to HoS Inventory management and responsible for day today tasks related to inventory operations from aim to deliver timely professional and cost-effective solution to both internal and external customers.

What You'll Do

  • Initiate supply chain optimization study and recommend changes where appropriate to strengthen the control over supply chain and logistics activities.

  • Engage with maintenance partners and logistics providers to identify process to meet operational requirements.

  • Monitor warehousing, shipping, and logistics functions through service providers to meet operational requirements.

  • Recommend changes in inventory level and support model where appropriate based on analysis and simulation on part shortage promptly, by gathering information, interfacing with functional teams, and monitoring shortage recovery continuously

  • Produce and deliver regular inventory reports and maintain relevant database to support inventory operations planning and control in an effective and efficient manner

  • Organize complex data sets whilst providing coaching, support and supervision to junior team members for part data maintenance, scrap replenishment evaluation, and asset reconciliation

  • Interact, communicate, and influence functional teams to action on deficient area based on stock level alert and failed pick analysis

What You'll Need

1. Functional and other Relevant Experience

  • Experience in Store and Logistics optimization
  • Project Management experience is preferrable
  • Experience in data mining and analysis tool/software

 

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Inventory Management, Operations, Planning field
  • A recognized Degree in Supply Chain, Business Analysis, or related disciplines
  • Knowledge or experience in aviation industry would be an advantage
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, able to think systematically and holistically
  • Skillful in preparing analytical report and presentations with MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint
  • Proven communication skills, influencing skills, and conflict management skills
  • Strong in execution and attentive to details, able to carry out tasks steadily and meticulously
  • A quick learner and good team player
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
