Position Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the hangar equipment and asset care. The role includes managing Hangar Equipment Team daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with various parties, and supporting project design and implementation to maintain high safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage the team daily scaffolding setup, maintenance work on hangar equipment and ensuring compliance with regulations and cost-effective technical solutions.
- Overseeing improvement projects on hangar equipment and asset care and including compiling specifications, procedures and tender evaluation.
- Coordinate and liaise with other departments/sections and contractors and workers, monitor site work progress, enforce safety precautions, and maintain quality standards.
- Ensure hangar equipment sourcing and procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory standards through effective inter‑departmental coordination.
- Oversee staff training and development programs to ensure regulatory compliance and sustain a high standard of service delivery.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for departmental functions and activities.
What You'll Need
- Degree in Engineering disciplines + Minimum 4 years relevant experience; or
- Higher Diploma in Engineering disciplines + Minimum 5 years relevant experience; or
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Assistant Engineer (Hangar Equipment).
- Holding Hong Kong Driving License Class 18 or 19, counter-balanced typed forklift truck or gantry crane is an advantage.
- Holding Trade Test - Certificate for metal scaffolder issued by Construction Industry Council (CIC) is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
