Position Description
He/she is responsible for the control and discipline of staff under his/her supervision, as well as ensuring all work performed is in accordance with company procedures and the defined quality standards to ensure the airworthiness requirements are fully met.
What You'll Do
- Supervise production staff to ensure all work aligns with company procedures, defined quality standards, and safety protocols to fully meet airworthiness requirements. Implement regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Liaise with other production departments to secure essential support, services, and safety equipment for the work under your control. Coordinate cross-departmental safety initiatives to maintain a cohesive safety culture.
- Ensure full compliance of production work with company safety regulations and industry best practices within your areas of responsibility.
- Monitor production work closely, take prompt corrective actions to address deficiencies in work procedures and processes, and implement safety improvements based on identified issues or near-misses.
- Uphold the company's image and reputation by respecting customers' properties, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, and adhering to proper attire and personal protective equipment (PPE)requirements
- Manage maintenance project(s) to ensure on time project delivery according to customer & regulatory requirements.
- Manage and supervise several Crews/Trades to carry out complicated and manpower demanding jobs tasks especially with multi-trade involvement.
- To liaise with staff of other production departments to ensure essential supports/services for work under his control are available.
- Oversee project tasks scheduling, works coordination and other ad-hoc projects.
- Reinforce compliance of regulatory requirements and standard procedures.
- Reinforce compliance of workplace health and safety policies.
- Performance/Competence review of team members to promote staff training and development.
What You'll Need
1. Technical and other Relevant Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience
- Completion of Higher Diploma or equivalent
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
