Position Description
Responsible to the Superintendent, S&C for ensuring the availability, serviceability, and full lifecycle control of tooling and ramp equipment to meet Line Maintenance operational and regulatory requirements. This includes acting as the focal point for tooling governance and compliance, ensuring proper tracking, reconciliation, and adherence to tool control procedures, while supporting BM and LM operations by maintaining the right equipment at the right time and place.
The role also drives continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives for tooling and equipment management, including smart toolbox and tracking systems, and supports Safety Management System (SMS) activities such as investigation, risk assessment, and implementation of corrective actions. It coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to support equipment improvement projects and system enhancements.
What You'll Do
- Accountable for ensuring the availability, serviceability, and full lifecycle control of tooling and ramp equipment to support BM and LM operations in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and govern tool control and compliance, including tracking, reconciliation, calibration oversight, and timely resolution of discrepancies to meet audit and safety requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives (e.g. smart toolbox, tracking systems, mobile solutions) to enhance tooling visibility, control, and operational efficiency. Support BM and LM equipment improvement projects.
- Ensure the right equipment is available at the right time and place through effective planning, coordination, and optimization of tooling and equipment resources.
What You'll Need
- Functional and other Relevant Experience
- Minimum 10 years of HAECO LM working experience, with 5 years as Supervisor.
- Familiar with HAECO Safety Requirements.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in frontline support role, project management, Lean Six Sigma projects or departmental improvement projects.
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- Fluent in writing and speaking in English and speaking Cantonese.
- Completed HKDSE / HKCEE or equivalent.
- Degree holder in Management/Engineering disciplines or holder of HKAR 66 B1 or B2 License or equivalent is preferred.
- Acquired Hong Kong Driving License (Class 1, 2).
- Strong communication skills with different levels of stakeholders.
