Position Description
Responsible to Assistant Manager, Global Engine Support Planning (APAC) to manage and ensure sufficient manpower to cover the workload 7 days a week for both off-wing induction planning and On-Wing support planning (Overseas & Hong Kong)
What You'll Do
- Manage the production planning functions of Global Engine Service included off-wing induction planning and On-Wing support planning (Overseas & Hong Kong)
- Understand the project specifications and develop time schedules according to customer’s KPI.
- Coordinate with various departments to support different activities for each project.
- Improve the operational procedure within a business to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Work with Customer Account Team and update the progress for each engine project.
- Liaising with Customer Account Team to quote sold manhours for new tasks.
- Attend meetings with external or internal parties if necessary.
- Assist in project preparation and analysis.
- Assist in preparing an external and internal KPI for the GES management team.
- Continuously review GES Planning process to identify improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
What You'll Need
1. Technical and other Relevant Experience
- Strong project management skill to ensure the product and service delivered in high quality.
- Strong communication skill to cope with both internal and external customers effectively.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Engine Production Support or equivalent.
- Or minimum 4 years relevant experience for Degree holder.
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- Recognized university degree in any discipline.
- Or alternate qualification for the candidate without degree
- 5 years aviation maintenance or relevant experience + Basic Licence,
- or 8 years aviation maintenance or relevant experience + M7, M9 & M10,
- or 10 years aviation maintenance or relevant experience + M9 + (M7 or M10)
- Basic Licence can be either HKCAD/ CAAC/ FAA/ JCAB/ EASA/ CASA, etc.
- Strong PC skills especially Microsoft Office and database applications
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken
