HAECO ITM Limited is a joint venture company between HAECO (Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd.) and Cathay Pacific Airways based in Hong Kong, providing aircraft component services ranging from flexible inventory pooling solutions, Power-By-The-Hour component support services and component repair management to ad-hoc loans, exchanges and world-wide AOG support. HAECO ITM consists of different functions such as Asset Management & Trading, Inventory Management, Repair Management and Value Engineering.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a team of Material Management Executives to precisely forecast and make adequate material provision for operations.
  • Perform analysis of customer demands and historical material consumption to forecast future usage
  • Review and improve material planning logic to ensure adequate supply of aircraft materials while optimizing inventory holding.
  • Liaise with Commercial and Production departments for RFP.
  • Manage financial budget for inventory planning.
  • Manage team performance for compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Give advice to other departments on material availability, lead time, deliveries, terms and conditions, specifications and quotes upon material requests and recommend alternative solutions if available.
  • Perform supervisory duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What You Need

Functional and other Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience for Degree holder in relevant disciplines or equivalent

 

Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • Excellent analytical skills with knowledge of statistical applications
  • Excellent material planning, inventory control and provisioning skills
  • Excellent coaching and supervisory skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of conversational English and Chinese
  • Excellent command of written English
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Able to work independently and make logical judgment under pressure
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of company IT System
