Position Description

Lead a team of Material Management Executives to monitor and manage spares requirements for aircraft projects and ensure timely availability of materials from HAECO and Customers.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of Material Management Executives to monitor and manage spares requirements for aircraft projects and ensure timely availability of materials from HAECO and Customers.
• Conduct regular reviews with internal and external customers on aircraft spares shortages
• Establish and implement best practices related to systems and processes for minimizing project residue
• Facilitate spare sales and customer buyback as required.
• Manage team performance for compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements in order for the company to deliver aircraft maintenance services safely and with the highest quality.
• Provide recommendations for provisioning of parts for forthcoming aircraft projects to avoid shortages.
• Give advice to other departments on material availability, lead time, deliveries, terms and conditions, specifications and quotes upon material requests and recommend alternative solutions if available.
• Perform supervisory and coaching duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Shift duties are required.

What You'll Need

Functional and other Relevant Experience

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience for Degree holder in relevant disciplines or equivalent

 

Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

• Excellent knowledge in aircraft spares and AOG sourcing process

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent command of conversational English and Chinese

• Excellent command of written English

• Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred

• Supply chain and/ or aircraft maintenance knowledge

• Strong supervisory/ coaching skills

• Able to work independently and make logical judgment under pressure

• Demonstrated proficiency in use of company IT System
