Material Management Executive (Receiving & Inspection)

Position Description
The Material Management Executive, Receiving and Inspection will be responsible to monitor the daily operation of Receiving and Inspection Team, who will be reported to the Material Management Specialist, Receiving and Inspection while working closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations of daily activities and streamline the workflow.
What You'll Do
- Liaise with forwarder and internal sections to perform first stage shipment receipt
- Facilitate stock arrangement and segregate stock by types for inspection activity
- Inspect outer and inner packing and confirm stock readiness for inspection. Clarify with customer when in doubt and arrange survey with shipping deparment for damaged part when arrival
- Attest part physical acceptance condition through metrology, drawing verification, content check and/ or condition verification.
- Attest part functional acceptance through part conformance specification and test results verification
- Review incoming parts’ documentation. Attest part documentation acceptance through certification and aviation regulator requirement verification
- Define shelf life for life-controlled items, report to customer for system fix and/ or amend system part files for part basic discrepancy
- Perform receipt transaction to the material control system(s) as required
- Attach traceable ID on parts for in-house operation
- Release for acceptance documentation and perform documentation filing for part traceability
- Replenish consumable kit and monitor flight spare kit set in regular basis
- Perform repacking, label removal for stock after inspection and prepare for binning
- Deliver inspected parts to the pre-assigned site
- Lead and monitor the teams’ performance and reach KPI target
- Ensure the teams’ performance are fully comply the procedure and customers’ requirement
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience for Higher Diploma / Degree holder in relevant disciplines or equivalent
- With minimal 1 year experience post T16 approval
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills as a team leader and team player
- Good leadership, training, instruction and coaching skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Strong Supply chain, Receiving and Inspection knowledge
- Strong negotiation and supervisory skills
- Strong analytical mind and numerical sense
- Passed training on Customer Service Skills( Supervisor), instruction & Coaching, Supervisory Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in use of company IT System or relevant Customer system as assessed by MM Specialist
