Position Description
Responsible for development and implementation (through partnership with Group companies) of a broad range of People Safety and Product Service Quality improvement programmes across the HAECO Group. Responsible the governance of safety and quality performance of Group companies, including supporting subordinate work leaders. Sets priorities for the team, especially on execution of tasks, coordinates work activities effectively to meet the appropriate timeline. Display competencies in analysing and resolving challenges. Execute decisions and problem-solving guided by HAECO Group Vision, Mission and Values, policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from managers.
What You'll Do
- Support the entity Safety and Quality Leadership teams to help embed a continuous safety and quality improvement culture within the Group entities.
- Support to achieve HAECO Group people safety 2030 target KPI commitment in 2030 SD Vision.
- Coordinate with the entities on the yearly people safety target setting, monitor the performance within the Group, analyze the trend and feedback to GLT and entity Heads/Safety Heads.
- Support the entities on the safety & quality improvement actions plan to achieve the yearly safety & quality target.
- Coordinate with the entity safety & quality teams to review the data and prepare the monthly performance report.
- Build strong, dependable relations with Group Leadership Team, Entity Leaders, Safety and Quality Managers and other Functional Leaders.
- Support the Group Level people safety & quality management projects .
- Conduct and support significant Injury and Incident Investigation with Group entities.
- Conduct Group Safety & Quality Management Audit to identify areas of improvement.
- Identify and develope effective mitigations to reduce exposure to operational risk / hazards across all entities utilising appropriate tools, methodologies and processes. Ensure the action plans are implemented effectively.
- Ensure that the HAECO Integrated Standards and Recommended Practices, application of industry best practices and appropriate mitigations / learnings across the HAECO Group business, Swire companies’ and other relevant industries are adopted by the entities .
What You'll Need
1. Functional and other Relevant Experience
- Ideally of 4 years of solid experience in Governance, Safety and Quality Management.
- Experience in audit and quality assurance or Registered Safety Officer/ Auditor.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement / Lean Sigma Greenbelt would be an advantage.
- Competency in Safety, Quality and Risk Management.
- Good understanding of the MRO, aviation industry and associated safety and quality risks.
- Good analytical skills, energetic and resourceful.
- Good leadership and project management skills.
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- A recognized degree; Engineering, Safety Management disciplines an advantage.
- Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and safety requirements.
- Ideally good command of English and Chinese.
