Position Description
Lead data analytics and process improvement projects in Base Maintenance (BM) to drives safety, quality, productivity and staff wellbeing, aligning with company goals.
What You'll Do
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, staff wellbeing, and business sustainability through data analytics and process improvement tools and techniques.
- Advocate the adoption, optimization, and transformation of visualization tools (e.g., Power Platform) to meet business needs.
- Provide insights and generate actionable initiatives to improve safety, quality, operations, productivity, and financial performance
- Oversee and monitor the cross-BM projects portfolio.
- Lead change processes and continual improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and refine data and analytics for decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by partnering with Manager Business Insights & Development (Line Maintenance) to establish data frameworks, policies, standards, and governance.
- Produce analyses and reports to improve business performance, utilizing digital management tools (develop if needed) and providing corresponding recommendations.
- Work closely with BM teams to prepare budget, monitor departmental expenses and provide advice on meeting annual budgetary targets.
- Manage, prioritize, and support cross-BM projects.
- Lead the team in identifying improvement opportunities, managing the project life cycle to implement optimal solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop staff capabilities and support their professional advancement.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 10 years related experience preferably in line/ base maintenance of an airlines engineering department or an aircraft maintenance repair organizations or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years working experience in project management, Lean Six Sigma projects, or data project
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience
- Recognised degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Data or related disciplines.
- A recognized qualification in data analytics/mining, lean and project management is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
