Position Description

Reporting to Manager (Safety and Environment), responsible for planning, execution and monitoring the strategic Safety and Environment projects and facilitate the implementation of safety management system in compliance with statutory requirement which aimed to reduce LTI and achieve HAECO Group SD 2030 goal.

What You'll Do

  • Assist to implement strategic Safety and Environment plan to improve Safety and Environment performance throughout all operations
  • Plan, execute and implement the strategic Safety and Environment projects to meet Safety and SD targets
  • Liaise and coordinate with departments on LTI reduction projects and SD projects 
  • Engage frontline staff in EHS programme /campaign and cultivate culture change in HAECO
  • Analyse and collect feedback from staff to ensure continuous improvement 
  • Support ISO 14001 / ISO 50001/ ISO 45001 Safety Management System (SMS) certification process 
  • Assist in conduct Kelvin TOPSET investigation for significant incident
  • Conduct risk assessment and safety inspection to identify hazards and create a zero harm workplace 
  • Assist in the internal and external safety audits by certified bodies and regulatory bodies
  • Facilitate and provide training support to department to ensure agreed action plans and commitments are being delivered
  • Prepare education and promotional materials, information and courses and ensure that they are of an appropriate standard.
  • Conduct research to identify new opportunities to drive continuous improvement of our safety strategy, performance and communication.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Assistant Manager, Safety and Environment

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Occupational Health & Safety, or other related disciplines
  • At least 3 years relevant EHS working experience
  • HKSAR Labour Department Registered Safety Officer is an advantage
  • With qualifications in ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO50001 are preferable
  • Experience project management
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
  • Self-motivated and can work independently
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
