Position Description
Reporting to the General Manager of Group Human Resources. The Head of Human Capital Management (HCM) will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's HR management systems. This role is responsible for ensuring that HR technologies and systems support the strategic goals of the organization, implementing data analytics strategies and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
What You'll Do
HR System Owner/Strategy:
- Develop and implement (with implementation roadmap) a comprehensive HR systems strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
- Evaluate and recommend HR technologies and systems to improve HR processes and data management by staying connected on industry trends and best practice.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure HR systems support business objectives. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders (HR, IT, and end-users) to gather requirements and feedback.
System Implementation & Maintenance:
- Lead the implementation of new HR systems and upgrades to existing systems.
- Ensure the integration of HR systems with other business systems.
- Oversee system maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support.
Data Management & Analytics:
- Ensure accurate and secure management of HR Data
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies to provide insights into HR metrics and trends.
- Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes
Process Improvement:
- Oversee the design and approval of HR processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Responsible for defining and approving the 'to-be' process designs for HR functions.
- Act as a liaison between the HRIS Project Lead and various entities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes.
- Implement best practices for HR system usage and data management.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Training and Support:
- Develop and implement training programs for HR System users to maximize system utilization.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to HR staff and other system users.
- Ensure users are proficient in utilizing HR systems effectively.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure HR systems comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Implement and maintain data security measures to protect HR information.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure system integrity and compliance.
What You'll Need
1. Functional and other Relevant Experience
- 10+ years of experience in HR systems management, with a focus on strategic HR technology initiatives.
- Extensive experience in HR process design, system management, and data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of overseeing HR system implementations and enhancements, with experience in implementing systems across global organizations as a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors HRIS is essential
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS and understanding of other HR technologies.
- Certification in HR or IT (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, PMP) is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of HR metrics, reporting, and dashboard development. Proficiency in data analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR systems strategies that drive organizational success.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential, a good command of Cantonese is advantageous.
