Head of Group Commercial (Operations)

Reporting to Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data and market knowledge-driven commercial strategies to drive business growth and enhance our market effectiveness. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting market and customer data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that foster decision-making in commercial, entities and group strategies. At the same time, this role will further develop processes and tools to professionalize the global Group Commercial team. You will lead the Group Commercial Operations team to develop operational excellence across the commercial organisation. This includes standardization, best practices, efficiencies in structure, processes, and policies within the HAECO Group Commercial organisation. When delegated, this position will also act as deputy to the CCO for specific assignments, or while engaging across the group commercial team, HAECO entities, and customer base to support advocacy and guidance regarding commercial activities.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and market trends
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Coordinate and monitor customer satisfaction, and advocate customer feedback to group commercial teams and actions accordingly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, Group Commercial regional teams, entities, product development, innovation and digital to develop data-driven global commercial strategies and campaigns
• Lead the team of Group Commercial Operations
• Support as deputy to the Chief Commercial Officer for decision making purposes when delegated by the CCO

What You'll Need

1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

• At least 10 years of proven track record of success in Commercial Operations or Sales
• Demonstrated experience in leading global cross-functional teams in Aviation / MRO
• A strong network of commercial & customer contacts within Aviation / MRO industry

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

• University Degree (Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science) Education in relevant subject, or relevant work experience
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken; Other languages are beneficial
