Group Digital Business Analyst (Customer Portal)

Position Description
Group Digital Business Analyst will join the Group Digital & Technology team to analyse the business requirements for the company’s latest digital products and solutions. He / She will work closely with the Group Digital Product Owner, Scrum Master, business subject matter experts across the entities and the Digital Delivery team to ensure smooth digital product delivery, drive the usage of the digital product and gain exposure to the latest technologies in the Group’s digital transformation journey.
What You'll Do
Requirements Analysis & Documentation
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit and document business requirements
- Create and maintain product functional backlogs with clear acceptance criteria
- Develop comprehensive user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and requirements documentation
Agile Collaboration
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Facilitate communication between Product Owner, development teams, and business stakeholders
- Prioritize and refine backlog items in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery
Analysis & Design
- Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state
- Map business processes and identify opportunities for optimization
- Analyse platform capabilities and technical constraints
- Design user journeys and interaction models
Implementation Support
- Develop and execute implementation and rollout plans
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage defect resolution
- Create training materials, user guides, and documentation
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product adoption
- Analyse usage data and user feedback to identify improvement areas
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on metrics and insights
What You'll Need
1.Functional and other Relevant Experience
- 3-5 years of proven experience in digital product, software development environment, project management or Change management department.
- Strong business analysis experience with relevant technical background.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery.
- Track record of successfully delivering functional specifications and user stories.
- Experience in implementation planning and change management.
- Proficiency in requirements management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Strong documentation skills with experience in creating user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
- A dynamic, adaptive and quick learner with a successful track record in working on cross-functional and cross-team projects. Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Eager to propose fresh ideas and able to deliver a pragmatic and solution-driven approach.
- Proficient written and spoken communication skills in English with the ability to present ideas in a professional and organized manner.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Regional project (Chinese Mainland / overseas) exposure and overseas duty travel experience.
- Experience in UX/UI design (business processes/solution design) will be a plus.
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- University degree holder.
- Experience with UX/UI design principles and user research methodologies
- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Chinese will be an advantage
- Experience in Aviation or Aircraft Maintenance will be an advantage
