Position Description

Being a training specialist in Line Maintenance Business Unit. Deliver training to HAECO staff for their competency. Co-ordinate external training and soft skill training. Manage potential certifying staff development programme. Manage trainee/direct entry staff training development program. Lead departmental development project and assist LM improvement projects implementation. 

What You'll Do

  • Provide high standard in-house training to LM frontline staffs for their required competency. 
  • Prepare and review training syllabus and materials. 
  • Handle training needs request from LM. 
  • Coordinate Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) and HKIA training. 
  • Manage LM trainee/ direct entry staffs development/training program. 
  • Provide suggestion on solving safety issue for aircraft maintenance works. 
  • Assist to maintain department COE building blocks. 
  • Assist to plan and manage head count and budget if assigned. 

What You'll Need

Functional and other Relevant Experience 

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance / training or equivalent 

 

Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge 

  • Acquired Degree in engineering or equivalent, OR Possess Cat. B License with 1 Aircraft Type endorsement. 
  • Fully follow and enforce safety policies and maintenance procedures. 
  • Identify and reporting unsafe acts, perform unsafe acts diagnosis and provide recommendation. 
  • Positive attitude and proactively motivate staff. 
  • With excellent presentation skill to share the training information. 
  • Passed combined certificate for safety & health supervisor is an advantage. 
  • Passed Project Management Essential (N.G345) or equivalent is an advantage. 
  • Passed Train the Trainer (N.G346) or equivalent is an advantage. 
  • Passed Assessor Training (T.F087) or equivalent is an advantage. 
  • Passed Human Factor Training or equivalent is an advantage. 
  • Passed Hong Kong Aviation Legislation Training or equivalent is an advantage. 
  • Proficiency of using Microsoft O365 & Learning Management System (LMS) is an advantage.
