Position Description
The Data Analytics Manager leads HAECO Group’s data analytics initiatives by translating business needs into actionable insights and innovative solutions. This role provides expert guidance on data analytics, leveraging advanced techniques such as machine learning and artificial intelligence to address complex challenges and uncover new opportunities. Working in close partnership with all HAECO business units, as well as Group Digital and IT, the Data Analytics Manager ensures that data-driven strategies are effectively implemented to maximize business value. Through collaboration, technical leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement, this position is instrumental in driving HAECO’s digital transformation and maintaining a competitive edge in the aviation industry.
What You'll Do
- Identify and translate HAECO Group’s business needs into effective data analytics solutions that balance cost, capability, performance, and speed to market.
- Develop and maintain the HAECO Enterprise Data Platform, ensuring it is equipped with robust analytics models and tools to support business decision-making and drive process improvements.
- Ensure all data models are developed in compliance with industry and HAECO standards.
- Oversee the efficient implementation of analytics projects, ensuring data completeness, quality, and timely delivery.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate the latest, most cost-effective technologies into HAECO’s analytics ecosystem.
- Foster clear and timely communication with business units, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Maintain a strong balance between data privacy requirements and the organization’s need for accurate, high-performing analytics.
What You'll Need
1. Functional and other Relevant Experience
- Over 8 years of IT experience, with a strong background in solution design, project delivery, and system integration
- Proven ability to develop solutions and make sound decisions for a team with minimal supervision
- DeSkilled in performing root cause analysis on both internal and external data and processes to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities
- Hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform, including Azure Databricks, Data Factory,
- Functions, Storage, SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Logic Apps (preferred)
- Experience in the aviation industry is an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft GPT, Qwen, Llama, or similar platforms in custom AI agent development is a plusmonstrated experience in leading teams, including effective coaching and mentoring.
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Analytics, PowerBI, or similar technologies is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and proactively address challenges.
- Strong team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated individual able to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver projects from inception.
- Highly passionate about emerging technologies, motivated, and demonstrates rapid learning capability.
