Position Description

The Business Analyst, LM & Mobile Solutions, is responsible for soliciting and analyzing business requirements and supporting IT solutions delivery for HAECO HKG.
The individual will work in conjunction with the IT team and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions.
 

What You'll Do

  • Solution Formulation and Delivery: Ensure business requirements are well documented and understood by the IT Teams and external vendor to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • IT Operations: Ensure non-functional requirements are well documented and understood by the IT Teams and external vendors to provide reliable services. 
  • IT Security: Ensure IT Security requirements are well documented and understood by the IT Teams and external vendor to protect company data.
  • Prioritize user and customer needs; solicit and analyze business requirements.
  • Drive the development of business process mapping and use cases; compile and review specifications for both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Manage changes to business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate and support business process changes.
  • Assist business stakeholders in preparing user acceptance test plans, test cases, test data, and acceptance criteria.
  • Aid business stakeholders in developing data migration strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria.

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 4 years of solid experience in solution analysis, project delivery and system integrations.
  • Proficient understanding of BABOK, Agile Methodology, and Design Thinking
  • Demonstrated proficiency in vendor and people management
  • Experience in data analytics is advantageous
  • Proven experience of project delivery in both waterfall and agile models is preferred
  • Experience working on SaaS and ERP projects is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline
