Position Description
Lead and manage the assigned Onwing Structure Support functions to deliver safe, compliant, timely and cost-effective support to Base Maintenance, Line Maintenance and component repair activities. The role provides management oversight for Aircraft Appearance, the OSS Repair Order team and the OSS COE team, ensuring adequate capability, resources, competence, airworthiness compliance, customer responsiveness, and continuous improvement across the assigned teams.
What You'll Do
- Accountable for safety, quality, operational delivery and cost discipline within the assigned OSS scope, in alignment with HAECO policies, approved maintenance data, company procedures and applicable HKCAD / EASA / FAA requirements.
- Implement OSS policies and procedures under the direction of the Head of OSS, and provide recommendations on staffing, training, promotion, establishment, discipline, facility and equipment development for the assigned teams.
- Oversee Aircraft Appearance, OSS Repair Order (RO), and OSS COE teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of painting, cleaning, repair order management, damage assessment, repair coordination, and operational support services.
- Provide management oversight of Aircraft Appearance, OSS RO, and OSS COE functions to ensure compliant, timely, and cost-effective service delivery and customer support
- Lead Aircraft Appearance, OSS RO, and OSS COE teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance support services.
- Ensure sufficient competent personnel, tools, equipment, materials, facilities and approved maintenance data are available before work is accepted or executed.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement, resource optimization, cross-training, technology adoption and business development opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant aircraft maintenance, MRO, production management, support-shop, component repair or airline technical operations experience; management experience is strongly preferred.
- Recognised degree in engineering, aviation, business management or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to lead a multi-cultural, multi-skill production support team in a high-pressure aviation maintenance environment.
- Strong working knowledge of airworthiness, maintenance documentation, competence / authorization control, safety management and quality compliance requirements applicable to HAECO operations.
- Experience in manpower planning, cost control, productivity improvement, customer communication, audit response and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
