Position Description
The Assistant Material Management Executive (Shipping) will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of Shipping Team, who will be reported to the Material Management Executive (Shipping) while working closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations of daily activities.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the operation according to the standard operation procedure (SOP) for meeting the key performance indicators (KPI) target
- Communicate with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth shipping operation
- Support the export/import operations and documentation
- Ensure all shipping documents are issued accurately
- Handle DG shipment in accordance with Transportation of Dangerous Good by Air (IATA) & Transportation of Dangerous Good by Sea (IMDG)
- Perform data entry for billing purpose
- Roster shift duties is required
What You'll Need
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience for HKCEE / HKDSE graduates or equivalent
- Knows about the HAECO Group VMV and demonstrates it in daily work
- Takes ownership for solving problems of internal and external customers
- Demonstrates self-awareness of own strengths and development areas
- Actively listens to others and creates effective communications
- Identify areas in the business where improvements will bring the most significant gains
- Accepts changes in job requirement, schedules or work environment as part of job
- Actively responds to Lean/CI or innovation activities and routine workplace changes
