HAECO ITM Limited is a joint venture company between HAECO (Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd.) and Cathay Pacific Airways based in Hong Kong, providing aircraft component services ranging from flexible inventory pooling solutions, Power-By-The-Hour component support services and component repair management to ad-hoc loans, exchanges and world-wide AOG support. HAECO ITM consists of different functions such as Asset Management & Trading, Inventory Management, Repair Management and Value Engineering.

 

Position Description

Reporting to the Head of Product Management, the incumbent will lead a team of Product Analysts to work closely with other HAECO ITM teams to provide business case & financial evaluation working closely with the Commercial team to elaborate competitive offers in response to customer RFPs, in a timely manner.

What You'll Do

  • Identify the gaps in existing tools, methodologies and business analysis approach and recommended solution.
  • Establish, document, and continuously improve processes.
  • Provide leadership in helping to synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative analyses into key trends and implications and provide recommendations.
  • Mentor, coach and train other team members on modelling and business case solutions.
  • Perform other commercial and analytical duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

 

Functional and other Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong and advanced technical, analytical and research skills (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Strong understanding of calculation & pricing methods for market competitive positioning. (PBH, Fixed Rates, T&M, Pooling, Leasing)
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize, take initiative, follow projects through to completion, and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Excellent collaborative style of working with a strategic and creative approach, and exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to execute and breakdown the bigger problem into smaller, key and manageable tasks.

 

Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • A recognized degree in Engineering, Management, Finance or Mathematics.
  • Proficiency in one or several programming tools such as R, Python, SQL and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of aviation supply-chain and airline operations is an advantage
  • Fluent in English
