Position Description
Develop and implement sustainable staffing and skill levels in BM and LM to support the business objectives, improve staff satisfaction at work, and improve administrative processes.
What You'll Do
- Develop rationalized composition in terms of teams, crews, supervisors and mechanics to create and maintain an effective staffing structure and budget.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to define the requirements of certifiers and ensure the training programme meet the stakeholders’ needs
- Centralise and standardise career paths, job descriptions, qualifications, training requirements in LM & BM
- Provide and implement road maps, govern teams’ progress towards their ideal structure and staff composition.
- Assist operations managers in staff development plan and staff performance management.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor the manpower capacity and people pipeline, and allocate resources with reference to the workload forecast.
- Assist managers in cultivating One HAECO culture in LM & BM
- Streamline administrative processes including not limited to reviewing shift patterns, clocking issues, digitizing/automating the process, as practical given operational needs.
- Act as the primary focal for operations teams for resources, engagement, and administrative matters.
- Take on additional responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as they arise
What You'll Need
1.Technical and other Relevant Experience
- Minimum 5 years related experience preferably in line / base maintenance of an airlines engineering department or an aircraft maintenance repair organization or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience
- Experience in project management of lean initiatives
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- University degree in Engineering, or holder of HKAR-66 B1 or B2 License or equivalent
- Fluent in written and speaking in English, and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office
