Position Description

The Internal Communications position is integral to enhancing connectivity and engagement among employees at HAECO HK. This role is responsible for facilitating effective communication, supporting organizational change initiatives, and promoting employee involvement. Collaboration with leadership, operations, and cross-functional teams is essential to develop comprehensive communication strategies that ensure transparency, strategic alignment, and reinforce corporate values and priorities, thereby contributing to a strong workplace culture.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver communication plans that reinforce HAECO HK’s values, priorities, and key initiatives, ensuring unified and consistent messaging through effective coordination with operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead communication efforts for transformation and change projects, making messages clear, accessible, and aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Create communications that help employees understand goals, impacts, and expectations, reflecting workforce diversity and fostering cultural engagement.
  • Promote shared values and facilitate communication to build trust, collaboration, and a cohesive culture.
  • Produce internal communications across relevant channels and platforms, continuously enhancing communication tools and processes for greater reach and effectiveness.
  • Advise leadership with strategic messaging that enhances clarity, transparency, and alignment with the company objectives.
  • Establish and manage mechanisms for open, two-way communication and feedback, supporting an inclusive and engaging workplace.
  • Manage communication projects, timelines, and stakeholder coordination, upholding confidentiality, ethical standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on internal communications best practices and support HR in reviewing policies for clarity and effectiveness.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Approx. 5 years’ experience in internal communications or employee engagement
  • Strong judgement and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proactive, outgoing communicator—skilled at initiating conversations and building connections across teams
  • Good at simplifying complex information into easy-to-understand messages, and creating clear, engaging and inclusive content
  • Proficient with digital communication channels and content management platforms and tools
  • Strong project management, organisational, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and competencies, this role may be appointed at either the Assistant Manager or Specialist level.
