HAECO Component Overhaul is an independent MRO offering offering a wide range of repair and overhaul solutions for aircraft components from purpose-built facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, our workshops also facilitate the closed-loop repair of components.


 

Position Description

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing repair management solutions that support customer requirements, commercial objectives, and operational performance. The position acts as a key customer-facing contact for repair management matters, working closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to drive service delivery, business growth, performance improvement, and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

  • Repair Management Expertise: Own the design and development of repair management products, advising on customer requirements, operational feasibility, and commercially viable solutions.
  • Business Development and Product Solutions: Work closely with Product Sales and Account Management to identify opportunities, develop repair management solutions, and support commercial growth with existing and potential customers.
  • Implementation and Cross-Functional Coordination: Oversee product implementation and coordinate internal and external teams to meet agreed implementation timelines, resolve barriers, and ensure smooth transition into operation.
  • Commercial, Financial, and Contract Support: Support commercial analysis, forecasting, profitability review, performance reporting, contract amendments, pricing calculations, and customer negotiations.
  • Customer Engagement and Requirement Execution: Maintain regular customer communication, understand operational priorities, and work with internal teams to deliver customer requirements and improvement actions.
  • Performance and Stakeholder Management: Lead regular reviews with customers and internal stakeholders, monitor performance against key indicators, and drive timely follow-up actions.
  • Repair Cycle Oversight and Risk Management: Oversee the full repair cycle, ensure obligations and operating targets are met, anticipate risks, and coordinate mitigation and issue resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify product, process, and system improvement opportunities, and drive enhancement initiatives that improve efficiency, address emerging business needs, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
  • Safety, Quality, and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality, ensuring repair management activities comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable audit expectations.
  • Audit Support: Support internal and external audit activities by providing required information, coordinating responses, and following up on agreed actions.

What You'll Need

1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years in business development, repair management, and/or customer support and fulfilment experience, preferably in the Aviation/MRO industry, with at least 2 years in supervision role.
  • Full understanding of aircraft component repair management cycle and requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing repair management activities, including customer communication, performance review, issue resolution, and service improvement follow-up.
  • Solid experience in commercial analysis, business forecasting, profitability review, and contract or pricing support related to repair management or aviation component services.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to implement repair management solutions, manage operational risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; other languages are beneficial.
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Having advantage if equipped with skills in data analytics and process automation
  • Solid knowledge of Aircraft Systems and Components is an advantage
