Position Description
Assist Assistant Business Improvement Manager and Business Improvement Manager to facilitate, lead and communicate improvement activities in order to embed a continuous improvement culture within the business.
What You'll Do
- Support the implementation of the HAECO Business Improvement Strategy by being an active and decisive member of the Business Improvement team.
- Assist Assistant Business Improvement Manager and Business Improvement Manager to facilitate, lead and communicate improvement activities to embed a continuous improvement culture.
- Use analysis and benchmarking techniques to identify and quantify the opportunities for improvement within the business.
- Maintain regular communication / review with improvement teams to ensure improvements activities are being progressed and sustained.
- Support the arrangement of accreditation ceremonies, regular briefings, and improvement activities.
- Assist in monitoring the progress of improvement activities progress such as Greenbelt, Lean, CoE, project delivery and training.
- Assist to implement technology and digital solutions and their enhancements to achieve operational excellence.
- Assist in governance meetings, training, workshops, good practice visits, go-look-see and coaching sessions as required.
- Assist in the preparation and update of relevant procedures, guidelines, standards and reports related to business improvement activities
- Communicate with frontline staffs and cell leaders through various communication channels to promote a positive attitude and active engagement in improvement activity to create value for business
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- No relevant experience is required
- A recognized Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related disciplines.
- Sound analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge in lean sigma will be an advantage
- Proactive, action-oriented and approachable team-player
- Knowledge in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
