Accounting Officer (2-year contract)

Position Description
Responsible for daily routine work tasks which belong to the responsible section. For example, handle payroll run or payment to vendors or fixed assets management or debts collections from customers. Also need to handle any ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
What You'll Do

Perform payroll related tasks / accounts payable transactions / billing duties.

Handle general ledger functions for daily accounting operations

Assist in month-end account closing / monthly payroll run

Prepare audit schedules for interim / annual account closing

Follow up with internal and external stakeholders

Handle ad hoc projects (e.g. system migration, workflow automations and improvements)
What You'll Need
1. Functional and other Relevant Experience
- Experience in system migration, workflow automations and improvements is a plus
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- A recognized bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines is a plus
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel and MS Word
- Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadline
- Good interpersonal skill and teamwork
- High self-initiative in taking up responsibilities
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- No relevant experience is required for fresh university graduates
