Onwing Structures Support (OSS) is a business unit under HAECO’s Base Maintenance division responsible for our sheet metal and composites teams and work shops, paint activities, AOG support for HAECO’s Line Maintenance business, as well as our Avionics shops and technicians. Safety and Quality are our utmost priority and the head of OSS position is responsible the safety and welfare of over 600 mechanics and certifying engineers. The position holds P&L responsibility for the OSS business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible to continue the exceptional performance in support of our hangar customers for which our structures team is well known and highly regarded throughout the industry. In addition, the position will be responsible for developing a commercial strategy for growing our EASA Part 21 POA business. The candidate must possess proven technical and operation skills as well as the business acumen and customer facing skills to understand and respond to market opportunities to develop capability and grow the business.

 

What You'll Do

  • Supports BM and grow the OSS footprint and business at highest safety and quality standards
  • Ensures full compliance with airworthiness regulations (HKCAD, EASA and FAA) under QM guidance
  • Ensures full compliance to company ethics, values and leadership principles
  • Complies with department agrees P&L objectives
  • Staff availability and qualification
  • Document and structure processes and procedures to support the operation
  • Executes business in accordance with commercial forecast
  • Ensures KPI’s of the department are in line with business unit targets


What You Need

1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

  • Previous leadership & management experience in MRO industry
  • Proven operational expertise in an MRO environment
  • Exemplary people skills

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • Expert understanding of maintenance requirements and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills in English
